Sendy Audio Apollo Review – Mood
Superb all-day comfort and an attractive design makes this suitable for lovers of a rich, V-shaped sound with zero midrange intensity.

While Grado headphones have become more of a niche proposition, within this niche, they remain essentially unchallenged, and the RS-1x is the most Grado, Grado headphone yet.
The RAD-0 isn’t a headphone I can recommend for its versatility, but one that carves out a niche with a unique, highly technical sound that makes it unrivalled for select genres of music.
Should you want for a comfortable open-back headphone with a hyper-detailed, achromatic sound, the LCD-5 deserves exclusive recommendation.
Combining all day comfort and integrated coms with a balanced and spacious sound from essentially any source, it is hard to deny the versatility and value provided by the PC38X.
The D8000 Pro meticulously balances summit-fi technicality with an inviting, balanced and genre-flexible tonality that I haven’t yet heard in such equal measure.
The tonality on display showcases a gorgeous colouration; it’s a snappy and immediate sound with satisfying energy. With its newfound balance and lower-register warmth, the SR325X is more genre versatile than ever.
Though its unique combination of qualities and thoughtful execution, the Phoenix is able to carve out a reasonably uncontested niche in the audio market for bass lovers who still value clear vocals and a spacious soundstage.
The LCD-X is an invaluable tool for those prioritising balance and authenticity – a headphone that doesn’t draw attention but rather places a spotlight on the style and colouration of elements surrounding it.
I applaud HEDD for perfectly balancing long-term listenability and huge resolving power in their modern masterpiece.
The LCD-1 provides a balance of qualities and conveniences unmatched by immediate competitors.
